This well-regarded college is expanding its Motor Vehicle provision and is looking to appoint two lecturers to join its growing Construction department. With dedicated support for staff development, fully funded teaching qualifications, and modern workshop facilities, this is a fantastic opportunity to make the transition from the garage to the classroom.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching to both apprentices and full-time Motor Vehicle students across Level 1, 2 and 3 programmes. You will plan and deliver engaging workshop and classroom sessions, assess learners' work, provide structured feedback, and support students in achieving their qualifications and progressing into rewarding careers.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician to come off the tools and inspire the next generation of automotive professionals.

The Role:
Full training and teaching qualification support provided
Delivering Motor Vehicle programmes to apprentices and full-time learners at Levels 1, 2 and 3
Planning and delivering engaging workshop and classroom sessions
Marking, assessing and providing constructive feedback
Supporting learners with individual needs and overcoming barriers to learning
Contributing to recruitment, retention and achievement targets
Participating in open days and employer engagement activities
Maintaining high standards of Health & Safety and safeguarding

The Person:
NVQ Level 2 in Motor Vehicle (or equivalent) - Level 3 desirable
Relevant industry experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician or equivalent
Teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd/DTTLS) or willingness to achieve
Motivated to inspire and support young people
Strong communication, organisational and time management skills
Professional, adaptable and learner-focused
Assessor/IQA awards beneficial but not essential
