Production Operative
Tewkesbury
Production Operatives required in Tewkesbury, working within a factory environment. Monday to Friday, weekly rotating shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:30 / 22:00-06:00), offering £12.71 - £15.89 per hour depending on shift. This role offers an immediate start with a genuine permanent opportunity and full on-the-job training.

The Role
Working as a Production Operative, you will be working within a busy factory environment supporting a range of production processes. The roles are varied and will involve operating automated lines and/or advanced machinery while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working on an automated/automotive production line
- Operating and assisting with high-tech equipment, including CNC machines and laser imaging machinery
- Running and monitoring production lines to ensure smooth operation
- Handling components and materials within a factory environment
- Working safely around chemicals, following strict health & safety procedures
- Carrying out quality checks and addressing basic production issues
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a production environment.
- Previous factory or manufacturing experience is essential
- A good working attitude with a strong willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong understanding of health & safety
- Ability to problem-solve and work effectively under pressure
- Comfortable working around machinery and chemicals
Shift Pattern & Pay
- Day Shift: 06:00 - 14:00 - £12.71 per hour
- Mid Shift: 14:00 - 22:30 - £15.26 per hour
- Night Shift: 22:00 - 06:00 - £15.89 per hour (may not be required as this is dependant if you are put on nightshift full time - usual shifts rotate between Day & Mid)
- Overtime: Paid at 1.25x after 40 hours worked
