Must have’s

• Strong bookkeeping experience, ideally within a practice environment
• Solid knowledge of VAT, payroll and CIS requirements
• Confidence using cloud accounting software
• Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
• Positive, proactive and client-focused approach

Nice to have’s

• Experience training clients on accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage

So, what will you be doing?

• Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Overseeing and processing payrolls with accuracy and compliance
• Handling CIS reporting and submissions
• Providing software training and support to clients
• Responding to client queries in a timely and professional manner
• Maintaining accurate financial records and meeting key deadlines
• Identifying process improvements and supporting the development of bookkeeping procedures
• Collaborating with the wider team to support client deliverables
