Class People are currently recruiting for Nursery Practitioners to work in a welcoming nursery in Westbury On Trym, with opportunities also available across surrounding areas of South Gloucestershire and Bristol.
We are looking for both qualified and unqualified Nursery Practitioners who are passionate about working with children and want to build a career in Early Years. If you have previous nursery experience, a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or are looking to gain your Level 3 qualification with training and support available, we would love to hear from you.
The Role – Nursery Practitioner
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing within a safe and nurturing nursery environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities
● Creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children
● Building positive and trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues
● Supporting children's individual needs and development
● Assisting with daily nursery routines, activities and observations
● Working as part of a friendly and supportive Early Years team
● Following safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies
● Helping to provide high-quality childcare and Early Years education
What We're Looking For
We are keen to hear from Nursery Practitioners, Early Years Practitioners, Nursery Assistants and Early Years staff who are:
● Caring, enthusiastic and reliable
● Passionate about working with children and supporting their development
● Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualified, or willing to work towards a qualification
● Experienced in a nursery or Early Years setting, although this is not essential
● Knowledgeable about safeguarding and child development
● A positive team player with a proactive approach
● Able to work flexibly across nursery settings
● A driver is desirable but not essential
Don't have a Level 3 qualification yet? Training and support may be available to help you work towards your Level 3 Early Years qualification.

Salary: £16.35 per hour to £18.82 per hour
Hours Per Week: 5 hours to 50 hours
