Are you an experienced School Business Manager looking for your next opportunity within a supportive school environment?

Class People are recruiting on behalf of a successful Multi Academy Trust for an experienced and proactive School Business Manager to provide interim cover from September to December 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a welcoming leadership team and play a key role in the operational and strategic management of two primary schools. You'll oversee finance, HR, administration, compliance, premises and support services, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of both schools.

We're Looking For

Previous experience as a School Business Manager or in a similar senior leadership role within education
Strong financial management, budgeting and forecasting experience
Knowledge of school HR processes, compliance and operational management
Experience using school finance and management systems such as Arbor, iTrent, IMP, Planergy or similar
Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
The ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational oversight
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
