Must have’s
- At least one year's experience in a B2B or commercial sales role
- Proven track record of generating new business, pitching and consistently achieving KPIs
- Experience managing the full outbound sales cycle
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong commercial awareness with a consultative sales approach
- Highly organised with strong CRM and pipeline management skills
- Proactive, relationship-focused and self-motivated
- Ability to build trust quickly with clients and colleagues
- Nice to have’s
- Interest in or exposure to the technology, start-up or venture capital sector
- Previous insurance or financial services experience
- Experience using LinkedIn as a business development tool
So, what will you be doing?
- Identifying and engaging prospective clients across the technology sector
- Managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach through to closing new business
- Building relationships through LinkedIn, email, telephone and networking events
- Delivering engaging virtual and face-to-face sales presentations
- Managing your sales pipeline and maintaining accurate CRM records
- Collaborating with Broking, Partnerships and Marketing teams to deliver an outstanding client experience
- Representing the business at industry events and networking opportunities
- Meeting and exceeding individual sales targets and KPIs
- Building long-term client relationships to support sustainable business growth
