Saturday lunch-time Volunteer
Stroud
Saturdays 11am to 2.30pm to prepare and serve sandwiches at St Albans Church for those most in need.
We offer hot, nutritious food on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and toasties and hot drinks on Saturdays to our guests in the Stroud area who benefit from the meals and the company we provide.
Volunteers are required to attend a minimum of twice a month.
The Recruitment Process

Volunteer applicants will be asked to complete a Volunteer Application Form. We will then meet with the applicant for an informal discussion. A decision will then be made on the applicant’s suitability to volunteer for Marah. If suitable, we will then check references and begin a DBS check. Applicants for Drop-in roles will need to be available for a minimum of two sessions per month. We aim to keep the process as short as possible and aim for completion four weeks from receipt of application.
