Position: Production Engineer
Location: Gloucester
Job Type: Permanent / On site
My client who are a globally recognised manufacturing business are seeking an experienced Production Engineer. The role will be working within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Role and Responsibilities - Production Engineer
In this role you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and making sure quality is of the highest standard. Other responsibilities include:
* Design, implement, and optimise production processes to improve efficiency and quality.
* Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement.
* Manage within production schedules and coordinate with supply chain and planning teams.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during production.
Experience or Qualifications - Production Engineer
* Degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience / Knowledge of working within a CNC machinery environment
* Experience with Six Sigma methodologies
* Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software
