Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer 
Location: Stroud
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (Depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00

What You’ll Be Doing:

- Producing accurate technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Designing electrical and pneumatic systems for specialist vehicles and equipment
- Supporting the development of both new products and enhancements to existing designs
- Liaising across departments, including production, sales, and purchasing
- Participating in testing and quality assurance of systems
- Leading and supporting a small team of electricians
- Working with or learning PLC programming (training provided)

About You:

- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronic Engineering
- Experience in electrical or mechanical design (graduate and junior engineers also considered)
- Proficient with 3D AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Knowledge of PLCs or electronics is desirable, though not essential
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to take initiative and solve problems
