Sunday Duty Manager

Sunday Duty Manager for the Amberley Community Shop & Café.

We are looking for a Duty Manager to run the shop & café from 11 – 4.30 every Sunday, assisted by 2 volunteers.

Pay according to experience.

This is a permanent, part-time contract to start as soon as possible.

Essential:

• willing to work with and lead young people, including training and development
• an interest in working for a community owned business, staffed by volunteers
• experience in using your initiative and handling ad hoc problems
• aged 18 or over to comply with the regulations governing the sale of alcohol and other prohibited items

Desirable:

• barista skills
• experience of working in a food outlet or shop

As the Duty Manager you will be responsible for ensuring a clean, tidy and welcoming shop & café, deliver excellent customer service and close the shop and café at the end of the day in line with procedures.

All our Duty Managers undertake an online Food Safety level 2 course and have an enhanced DBS disclosure.
