Marketing Executive


South West, Gloucestershire, Rosehill - Hybrid

Working as part our busy marketing department, this proactive role will work to deliver key awareness and lead generation campaigns for our key audiences. Experienced in briefing creative and design teams, you will also provide support with the delivery of UCAS’ core customer communications.


Key accountabilities:

· To support the delivery of marketing communications to our key audiences on behalf of the UCAS Marketing Team. This will involve supporting and deploying communications to help UCAS fulfil our charitable objectives.


· To deliver campaigns based on existing marketing and operational plans across multiple channels and platforms.


· To support the development of marketing campaigns through the creative and design teams, and at times support liaison to ensure internal clients in sign off, ongoing analysis and reporting.


· To provide advice to internal customers on the most effective execution of marketing campaigns in achieving their objectives.


· To create and update operational guidance in collaboration with internal stakeholders.


· To take technical information and simplify into plain English for a non-technical audience.


· To create and update marketing and operational collateral (digital and print) as required.


· To support and deliver operational messaging to relevant audiences.

Skills, qualifications, and experience

· Demonstrable evidence of Marketing Campaign Management skills – whether with internal or external clients.


· Demonstrable evidence of the successful execution of marketing campaigns.


· Experience in using email marketing service providers to send campaigns.


· Results driven – this role will be expected to work to clear deadlines.


· Experience of delivering B2B and/or B2C marketing campaigns desirable.


· Evidence of the ability to step up and make appropriate decisions in the absence of Marketing Managers.


· Ability to manage and build good working relationships with clients and colleagues.


· Creative problem solving skills with a positive and pro-active ‘can-do’ attitude.


· A thorough understanding of campaign planning.


· First rate communication skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels verbally and in writing.


· Ability to question and challenge current practice.


· Ability to interpret and work to best practice guidelines set by Direct Marketing Association.


· Ability to work under pressure, as a member of a team and on own initiative.


· An understanding of the Data Protection Act and its effect on business practice.


· Strong analytical skills.


· Strong copywriting and proofing skills.


Pacakge


Salary up to £30,000
