We're recruiting on behalf of an independent Supported Living provider in Gloucester for a newly created role supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of a small, person-centred service.

Supporting a small number of adults with complex learning disabilities across four homes, this organisation offers the opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team where personality, teamwork and a genuine passion for care are just as important as experience.

Although this is primarily an office-based role working Monday to Friday, flexibility is essential. As with any quality care service, there will be occasions where you'll support frontline teams by covering shifts, completing sleep-ins where required and participating in the on-call rota (approximately every couple of weeks).

Whether you are an experienced Senior Support Worker or Team Leader looking to step into their first management role or are an existing an existing Care Supervisor, Deputy Manager or Registered Manager seeking a fresh challenge within a smaller, values-led organisation this could be the perfect role for you!

Your responsibilities will include:
-Supporting the day-to-day management of the supported living services.
-Creating and maintaining person-centred care plans and associated documentation.
-Carrying out staff supervisions, competency assessments and performance support.
-Managing rotas and assisting with staffing requirements.
-Supporting recruitment, onboarding and compliance for new employees.
-Monitoring medication processes, audits and quality assurance.
-Working alongside the Registered Manager to maintain CQC compliance and continuously improve service quality.
-Providing practical support to the care team when required, ensuring the people supported always receive exceptional care.

Candidate Attributes:
-A minimum Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
-Experience working within supported living, learning disabilities or complex care.
-Strong organisational and leadership skills.
-Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
-A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
-Flexibility to support the service outside of standard office hours when required.
-Most importantly, you'll have a genuine passion for delivering an outstanding care service.

Hours: Monday – Friday, office based, 9am – 5pm with flexibility required to support the wider team out of hours

Salary: £14.50 per hour
