Full Time Patient Care Team Member

Full Time Patient Care Team Member

Cheltenham

Job Description:

This role is a combination of front-of-house patient care with behind-the-scenes administration and clinic coordination, helping to create an organised, welcoming and efficient environment for both patients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

This is a varied role combining patient care, reception and clinic coordination. You will split your time between supporting the practice behind the scenes and providing an excellent front-of-house experience for our patients.

When based in the back office, you will help keep the clinic running smoothly by managing the telephone line, responding to patient enquiries, coordinating appointments, supporting clinic administration, preparing treatment rooms, sterilising equipment, maintaining supplies and assisting with footwear enquiries.

When based at the front desk, you will be the face of the practice, welcoming patients, managing arrivals and departures, taking payments, assisting with appointments and ensuring every patient receives a warm, professional experience from the moment they arrive.

As a key member of the team, you will provide flexible support wherever needed, including helping the front-of-house team during busy periods and stepping into reception cover when required to ensure a seamless experience for both patients and clinicians.

  • A proactive approach with the confidence to work independently and use initiative.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working within a healthcare or clinical environment.
  • Experience using appointment booking or practice management software.
  • Experience in sales, customer retention or converting enquiries into appointments.
  • Experience managing diaries or coordinating schedules.
