About the role
As a Lead Care and Support Worker, you will:

  • Support students with their daily living and personal care needs.
  • Encourage independence and help students develop life skills such as cooking, laundry, budgeting, and community participation.
  • Enable students to pursue hobbies, interests, and personal aspirations.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of Care and Support Workers.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure high-quality, person-centred care and support.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, active, and engaging residential environment.
  • We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and leading others to do the same.

You will have:

  • At least two years' experience in a care setting.
  • Experience supporting people with learning and/or physical disabilities.
  • A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • The ability to motivate others and champion best practice.
  • Internal applicants should currently be working as a Specialist or Advanced Facilitator and hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
