Come and join our outstanding Nursery School and Children’s Centre.
We are looking to recruit a friendly, flexible and creative Caretaker who enjoys working with children and adults, takes pride in their work and enjoys repairs, maintenance and innovations.
The post is 15 hours per week all year round
The usual hours of this post are
Monday - Friday 3pm - 6pm or 2pm - 5pm

St Pauls Nursery School and Children’s Centre is a Centre of Excellence for under 3s and been designating as a National Teaching School. In this role we work right across the city hosting visitors, developing training and working alongside practitioners from others settings to develop the very best provision for our under 3s.
We pride ourselves on the exceptional quality of personalised provision provided for our youngest children - which holds their emotional well-being central to all we do.
Our challenge this year is to develop outdoor learning space.
We are looking for a caretaker who has:
General maintenance skills including painting and decorating
Good IT skills
Good interpersonal skills and to be able to communicate with children, staff, visitors and contractors
Experience of Health and safety systems and procedures including fire safety
Willingness to undertake appropriate training including health and safety
Able to prioritise the workload
A love for the outdoors
Enjoys having fun and thinking anything is possible!
