General Maintenance Operative - Part-time
Cheltenham
Based in a Regency building in Cheltenham town centre, M R Ratcliffe Consultants Limited is a specialist insurance broker focusing on the transport industry.
The company requires an experienced Maintenance Operative to maintain our buildings in Cheltenham Town Centre, Leckhampton and Charlton Kings.
Key tasks:
- Perform daily checks of the buildings and report any issues
- Carry out minor repairs and remedial work
- Carry out painting and decorating
- Liaise with external contractors to obtain quotes and ensure works are completed to a high standard
- Test emergency lighting and fire alarms
- Arrange annual boiler services
- Manage refuse collections
- Assist with cleaning duties as required
- Knowledge of Health and Safety Procedures
Applicants should own their own vehicle and hold a clean UK driving licence. A mileage allowance will be payable for use of own vehicle when required to undertake local errands.
Holidays: 31.0 days per annum including Bank Holidays/Public Holidays pro rata
