The salary for this role is £27,195 per annum.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in grounds maintenance who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining high-quality sports and estate grounds. You will be working as a member of our Grounds and Gardens team, which forms part of the wider Property Services team at a prestigious boarding school based in the centre of Cheltenham.
Reporting to the Head of Grounds and Gardens and working as part of a dedicated team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, presentation, development and overall care of the College’s extensive outdoor areas and playing surfaces. The College estate includes 15 boarding houses with their own gardens, two sports fields, a cricket square, 18 hard courts, two astro pitches, the main College site and the Performing Arts Centre.
As a member of the support staff, you will be part of a large and friendly community of professionals who support our pupils’ education and experience. You’ll be joining a significant team that underpins the success of college.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week average), working on a 3-week rota pattern which, during term time, includes evenings and weekends.
