Garden and Groundskeeper

The Dean Close Foundation is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Gardener & Groundskeeper to help maintain and develop our beautiful school grounds, gardens, and sports facilities.

Working as part of the Estates team at Dean Close Kingham Hill School, you will play a key role in ensuring the school’s extensive grounds are presented to a high standard throughout the year. Duties include the maintenance of lawns, gardens, trees, hedges, sports pitches, pathways, and landscaped areas, as well as the safe operation and upkeep of grounds maintenance equipment.

The successful candidate will take pride in their work, have a practical approach to outdoor maintenance, and be committed to maintaining a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. Previous grounds maintenance, gardening, or landscaping experience is desirable, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
