Community Manager (part of the Children and Family Centre team)

Does Asset Based Community Development, community asset mapping, relational practice, or the Liberated Method mean anything to you? Do you have a track record of creating or developing thriving and authentic spaces led by the communities and neighbourhoods they belong to? If so, we would love to hear from you.
As a member of the Children and Family Centre management team, you will support and develop a team of Family and Community Connectors, Centre and Volunteer Co-ordinators, and Volunteers in creating open access centres, embedded and connected to their neighbourhoods with a thriving community led timetable of activities and services. Your Centre and Volunteer Coordinators are looking inside the centres to ensure everything is running smoothly, people are welcomed and it is a safe environment. Your connectors are looking outwards and building relationships with local people and stakeholders. You will oversee both aspects and make sure that the two centres you lead thrive. The two centres will be The Link in Matson and Finlay in White City.
You are joining a team of three Community Managers (one in the Forest of Dean and two in Gloucester).
