PATA Creche Workers
Gloucester
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our new PATA creche service. This Gloucester based service supports families and community partners by offering high quality, safe and nurturing childcare in a welcoming environment. Our creche operates in well equipped, community locations across Gloucester with inviting spaces that encourage play, exploration and early development.
Creche sessions will run for 2 hours, with staff paid for 3 hours per session to cover set up and close down. We are looking for enthusiastic Early Years Educators with a Level 2 qualification or above to join our pool of creche workers. You will help to deliver a warm and engaging experience for young children under 5.
This is a great chance to join our staff team!
It's ideal if you're looking for ad-hoc work. You can join the register and we will notify you of any dates we have to offer which you can accept or decline. They tend to run for 8-12 week blocks but you don't have to commit for the whole run. They are mostly in Children's Centres at the moment, running while parents attend courses.
Our staff who've been involved so far have really enjoyed it - a great chance to support families and give them a glimpse of what fantastic early years provision looks like!
The ideal candidate will be committed to providing an excellent standard of care, enjoy working as part of a supportive team and bring creativity, energy and a genuine passion for early years. You will need to be confident in working with parents and carers including those who may feel anxious about leaving their child, perhaps for the first time.
Peadiatric First Aid is desirable although not essential.
