We are looking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated childcare professional to join our current team. You will hold a full and relevant level 3 early years qualification. Hours: 24 hours per week, term time only. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:50am – 3:00pm, Friday 8:50am – 12:20pm. +2 hours training/staff meetings on Wednesdays.

Do you enjoy being outside in all weathers, exploring nature through the eyes of a child? Are you happy to roll up your sleeves and explore a wide variety of sensory resources and clean up afterwards? Do you enjoy singing and dancing, reading stories and looking for lost socks?

If you do then this may be the right job for you.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with preschool children. The role will include planning, setting up and cleaning up activities. A current qualification in safeguarding and paediatric first aid is desirable.

The setting is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children. Professional references will be required from all shortlisted candidates and the position will be offered subject to relevant DBS and criminal checks. It will include two induction days before the start date and a probationary period. The position is exempt from the rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All candidates selected for interview will be asked about their safeguarding children experience.
