Playgroup Manager, Permanent. Term time only. NVQ Level 3 or above in Early Years - Pay to be based on previous experience. Start Date: ASAP.
Cashes Green Playgroup is currently Committee-led and works closely alongside Cashes Green Primary School where the setting for 2 - 5 year olds is situated. The Playgroup Committee is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, forward-thinking and creative leader to fill the role of Playgroup Manager. This will involve the strategic and day-to-day running of the playgroup and management of the team of staff. The playgroup currently consists of 2 rooms: Rising 3’s and Preschool. There are approximately 45 children on roll for September 2026.
Our children are looking for someone who is kind, caring and empathetic to their varying needs, fun and enjoys getting messy, happy being outside in all weathers and keen to encourage positive interactions.
Our parents are looking for someone who is approachable and understanding, knowledgeable in how to access help and support as needed and an expert in child development and helping young children to thrive.
The committee are looking for someone who is hard-working and innovative, committed to building links between playgroup and Cashes Green Primary School and all the families they serve, dedicated to bringing out the best in the staff team whilst moving the setting forwards and experienced in managing a Playgroup setting including staff appraisals and supervision, budget management and day to day finances
The Staff are looking for DSL support and someone with passion for SEND and a strong leader.

There will be an opportunity to tour the setting during the interview, but visits are welcome.
