Full-time/Part-time: Part time – to be discussed at interview; to include weekend and evening working
Days/Times: Term Time only plus INSET Days. Note: We close every other weekend and during school/college holidays. Exact start and finish times on which days will be discussed at interview
Qualifications/Experience: A level 3 qualification in health and social care is essential or a commitment to undertake this qualification on starting at St Rose’s

St Rose's provision is from 2 to 25 years; a nursery, a non-maintained special school for students from 5 to 19 and St Martin’s an independent specialist college for students from 19 to 25. Our students have physical and sensory disabilities, learning and communication difficulties and complex health needs.
Due to an increase in the number of children and young people joining us at our residential school and college, we have a part-time care assistant position available, with shifts that may include mornings 07:15- 10:00 and evenings 15:45- 22:00 Monday – Friday, this may also include some weekends. A full shift pattern will be discussed at the point of interview.
Providing personal care, assisting with eating and drinking, and moving and handling are all important aspects of this role. You will work closely with other care professionals to create a safe and supportive environment that promotes the independence and dignity of our students. A level 3 qualification in health and social care is required. If you don’t already have this qualification, you will need to commence the course once you have joined us.
