Playgroup Manager, 29 hours per week, Term-time only, Permanent.

Twyning Playgroup is seeking an enthusiastic and committed  Playgroup Manager to lead our friendly village playgroup in the heart of Twyning.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional to join our team and play a key role in the continued development of our setting. The successful candidate will provide strong, visible leadership while working alongside our experienced staff team to deliver high-quality care, education and learning for children aged two to school age.

As a working manager, you will balance time spent directly with children alongside responsibility for leading the team, overseeing the EYFS curriculum, safeguarding, staff development, quality improvement, administration and the effective day-to-day running of the Playgroup.

Twyning Playgroup is a registered charity with a dedicated parent-led Management Committee and a passionate staff team. We pride ourselves on our welcoming community ethos, strong links with local families and schools, and our commitment to providing children with the best possible start in their early years journey.

We are looking for someone who holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent), has experience of leading or supervising an early years team, has a strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and inclusive practice, is passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing and can provide positive leadership while working collaboratively with staff, families and the wider community
