Repair, Share and Grow Coordinator

Do you enjoy bringing people together, supporting volunteers and getting stuck into practical community projects?

Vision 21 Gloucestershire is looking for a Repair, Share and Grow Coordinator to help deliver some of our most exciting community sustainability programmes, including our Libraries of Things, Repair Cafés, Annecy Gardens and wider repair, reuse and sharing activities.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two weeks are the same. One day you might be supporting volunteers at a Library of Things, another helping run Cheltenham Repair Café, coordinating community growing activities, or supporting our furniture reuse project, Reclaim.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with people and building community connections
  • Is organised, proactive and practical
  • Is comfortable with hands-on activities and outdoor work
  • Has good basic digital skills (email, WhatsApp, online systems)
  • Can travel across Gloucestershire
  • Is willing to work approximately two Saturday mornings per month
  • Shares our passion for sustainability, repair, reuse and community action

A full driving licence and experience driving vans would be an advantage, but is not essential.

What you'll be doing:

  • Coordinating volunteers across our projects
  • Supporting the monthly Cheltenham Repair Café
  • Helping run our three Libraries of Things
  • Supporting community growing projects at Annecy Gardens
  • Maintaining records, statistics and risk assessments
  • Providing occasional operational support to Reclaim Furniture Reuse

This role would suit someone who enjoys practical community work and wants to help create a fairer and more sustainable future for local communities.
