The successful candidate will be a friendly individual who is creative, passionate, and excited about working in hospitality. We are looking for individuals who want to provide a great dining experience to our guests and be part of an amazing team.
We are Cheltenham’s first rooftop restaurant. Our ethos is to serve fresh, local produce that changes to suit the seasonal calendar. We are currently open 7 days a week, serving a mix of working breakfasts and lunches, afternoon tea, a la carte dinners and the occasional tasting menu. In addition to our offering, we have recently opened a Deli in our downstairs operation, The Nook Deli. This requires planning and preparation from the whole team to deliver a consistently high standard of eat in and take out food options.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our team as a Chef De Partie. We are looking for someone who can confidently manage a section, produce solid prep lists and be able to switch between larder, mains and pastry
Along with the salary, you will receive an additional tronc payment each month.
Skills Needed
- You will have at least 1-2 years CDP experience at a brasserie restaurant where food is made fresh.
- You will need to be calm under pressure
- You will need to be organized and pay attention to details
- You will have a friendly and professional manner and enjoy working as part of a team
- Awareness of manual handling techniques (desired but not essential)
- Awareness of Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) and chemical safety (desired but not essential)
- Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate.
