Nursery Cook

A rare opportunity for a Nursery Cook is available at an award winning Early Years setting in Cheltenham.
Candidates requirement and duties
Experience in being a solely responsible Cook for large numbers of children is essential, as are qualifications in this field.
The successful candidate will have a passion for creating wholesome, healthy, and inviting meals for young children, enjoying a fun environment, and being fit and in good health.
Our busy setting is looking for someone passionate about food and nutrition for children and dedicated to providing an equally balanced menu that meets all the food group requirements for children 3 months to 4 years.
The successful candidate will be organised, efficient, detail-oriented and responsible for food orders, cleaning schedules and adhering to safer food and better business protocols.
Our setting has been proud to have a 5-star rating for the past 15 years, and we would like to uphold that standard. Ideally, we are looking for someone willing to enhance menus with new ideas, and we would welcome someone who would like to get fully involved in progressing what we offer.
Additional Job Details
The role is 6 hours a day, Monday to Friday, 8.00am-2.00pm, all year round.
