# Long-Term Supply EYFS Practitioner (Term Time, Full Time)

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and nurturing Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Practitioner to join our team on a long-term supply basis. This is a full-time, term-time position, ideal for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about supporting young children's learning and development in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.

## Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS Framework.
* Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through high-quality interactions and play-based learning.
* Observe, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to learning journals and developmental assessments.
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
* Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
* Support children's personal, social, and emotional development, encouraging independence and confidence.
* Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all children at all times.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to meet individual children's needs.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to planning meetings and staff discussions.
* Promote positive behaviour using consistent and supportive strategies.

## Requirements

* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or equivalent.
* Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
* Good understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
* A caring, patient, and flexible approach to supporting young children.

## Desirable

* Paediatric First Aid qualification.
* Experience supporting children with additional needs or SEND.
* Knowledge of phonics programmes and early language development.
* Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
