LEVEL 2 or 3 - CHILDCARE PROFESSIONAL PRACTITIONER VACANCY AVAILABLE TO JOIN OUR WONDERFUL TODDLER ROOM 💛

We are looking for an enthusiastic Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse to join our team at Little Sunshines Day Care, in our Toddler Room to start as soon as possible ☺️

We are a small, privately owned nursery and pre-school based in the centre of Bishops Cleeve that care for up to 33 children per day.

We are open Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.00pm for 51 weeks of the year. We are closed during Christmas and New Year.

If successful, your working hours per week will be between 36 hours and 41 hours.

Full training and support will be given to you, and you will be working alongside our team of other valued, qualified childcare professionals.

Your duties will include:

• Provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for the children at our setting.
• You will work together as part of a team supporting each other for the benefit of the children through planning, observations, monitoring and evaluation.
• Deliver a programme of exciting play opportunities and activities suitable to the age range and developmental needs of the children.
• Follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework.
• Uphold and ensure a high standard of care is provided throughout the nursery.
• Support and work with your colleagues to learn daily routines.
• Monitor any safeguarding issues following nursery and local authority procedures.
• Because of the nature of this job, it will be necessary for an enhanced criminal record disclosure to be undertaken.
