We are seeking to appoint a ‘Teacher’ for two days a week in our Nursery class. Successful applicants will work in partnership with a part time nursery manager, already in post. Preference will be given to candidates with experience of working with children in the Early Years. Gloucester Road Nursery is a growing School Based Nursery, with capacity to accommodate 30 children, aged 2-4. T

The successful candidate will be committed to Gloucester Road’s aims, vision and values. In addition to this, they will;

• have the highest of expectations and genuine concerns for the wellbeing of all our children.
• be dedicated and determined to strive for outstanding practice
• have a proven track record in Early Years education that will include pupils with EAL and SEND, taking responsibility for SEN provision in the Nursery setting
• be able to demonstrate a high level of commitment, initiative and effective time management skills, taking responsibility for transition work into Reception.
• be experienced in planning and providing a highly stimulating, experiential curriculum, establishing a safe and engaging learning environment and accurately assessing child development, in collaboration with the nursery manager.
