About the Role
As our Preschool Room Lead, you will:
- Lead and support the preschool team to deliver outstanding care and education.
- Plan and provide engaging, child-led learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
- Support children’s learning, development, and school readiness.
- Monitor children’s progress through observations and assessments.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s development.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are always met.
- Act as a positive role model, supporting and motivating your colleagues to maintain the highest standards.
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting, ideally within a preschool room.
- Leadership or senior practitioner experience is desirable.
- A sound knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A caring, enthusiastic, and professional approach with a genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.
