Are you an experienced and passionate Early Years Practitioner ready to take the next step in your career? Churchdown Day Nursery is looking for a dedicated Room Leader to join our friendly and supportive team.
About the Role
As a Room Leader, you will play a key role in creating a warm, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can thrive. You will lead your room’s daily practice, support your team, and ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Leading and motivating a team of practitioners within your room
- Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities following the EYFS framework
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
- Supporting the nursery management team with daily operations and staff development
About You:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent
- Previous experience in a nursery setting (leadership experience desirable)
- Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
