Thrive Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a warm, nurturing preschool provision within a highly regarded primary school in the Evesham area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education, child development, and creating positive learning experiences for young children.

 

Role Overview

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant within the preschool, you will:

  • Support the planning and delivery of engaging, developmentally appropriate learning activities.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and early years team to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
  • Build warm, trusting relationships with children, promoting confidence, independence, and curiosity.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress in line with EYFS requirements.
  • Support personal care routines when required.
  • Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing in line with school policies.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.


About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years/Education (or equivalent).
  • Has experience working with children aged 3–5 in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Demonstrates strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
  • Has a nurturing, patient, and proactive approach.
  • Understands the EYFS framework and child-led learning.
  • Is committed to safeguarding and the wellbeing of all children.
