Nursery Practitioner - Part Time

Jelly Bears Day Nursery is a warm and welcoming family run day nursery dedicated to providing high-quality early years education and care for children from birth up to 5 years.  We are committed to fostering a nurturing environment where children can thrive and develop their full potential.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team on a minimum of 20 hours per week contract, to work across all age groups of the nursery, this will be between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm based on the needs of the business.

The ideal candidate will have a level 2/3 early years qualification (NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC or equivalent), but this is not essential, however must have at least 1 year experience working within an early years setting. You will have a genuine love for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood development. You will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that supports the physical, emotional, and social development of the children in our care.

Responsible to the Nursery Manager, you will help to plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities, monitor and support children's development and learning, ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children, build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, maintain accurate records and reports on children's progress and collaborate with the team to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
