Academics is currently recruiting caring, reliable, and qualified Nursery Assistants to support a nurturing nursery in Cheltenham.
This Qualified Nursery Assistant opportunity is ideal for individuals who have a genuine passion for working with young children and hold a relevant childcare qualification. Your Role:
- Support daily nursery routines and activities
- Encourage children through play-based learning
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment
- Assist with children's early years development and well-being
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Follow safeguarding and nursery policies and procedures
What We're Looking For:
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous nursery or childcare experience preferred
- A genuine passion for working with children
- Positive, reliable, and enthusiastic attitude
- Good understanding of children's development and safeguarding
- Willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
Salary: £14.24 to £16.15 Hourly +
