Playleader Manager required. Full time (with some flexibility on hours). Rate of Pay: £16 - £18 an hour (dependent on qualifications and experience).

Rodborough Playgroup is a well-loved, not-for-profit charity that has been providing high-quality, inclusive childcare for over 50 years on the edge of the beautiful Rodborough Common in Stroud. We are looking for an exceptional Playleader to continue our vision, lead our dedicated team, and ensure every child is at the center of their own learning journey.
As our Playleader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic direction of the Playgroup. You will report to the voluntary Management Committee and will:
Lead & Inspire: Mentor and motivate the staff team, fostering a creative, fun, and nurturing environment. Curriculum Excellence: Ensure the delivery of an outstanding, play-led curriculum that meets the individual needs of children aged 2.5 to 4 years. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring the setting runs smoothly and efficiently. Safeguarding: Maintain the highest standards of child protection and welfare, acting as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). Community Partnership: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, the Management Committee, and the local schools
You will bring a minimum of a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent), GCSE Maths Pass, at least 2 years' experience within an Early Years setting, expert knowledge of the EYFS framework, Ofsted requirements, and robust safeguarding practices, excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills and experience and/or training working with SEN children.
