Hours:
Breakfast Club: 7:15am – 9:15am (Monday to Friday)
After School Club: 3:00pm – 6:00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 3:00pm – 4:30pm (Friday)
Are you enthusiastic, caring, and passionate about working with children? Class People are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming primary school in Bisley for a reliable and energetic Breakfast & After School Club Assistant to join their wraparound care team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can thrive before and after the school day.
The Role
As a Breakfast & After School Club Assistant, you will:
Welcome children into the club and ensure they feel safe and included.
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play activities.
Prepare and serve simple breakfasts and light refreshments.
Encourage positive behaviour and support children's social development.
Organise creative games, crafts and age-appropriate activities.
Maintain a clean, safe and stimulating environment.
Work closely with school staff and communicate effectively with parents where appropriate.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies at all times.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with primary-aged children (school, nursery, childcare or youth work experience is desirable).
Is friendly, reliable and approachable.
Can build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Understands the importance of safeguarding and child welfare.
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS check.
