Play Assistant, Term Time Only. Offer of an apprenticeship to the right candidate. Hours of work generally between 8:15am and 3:30pm. Contracted Hours: 31 - 37 hours per week. Pay: National living wage as of April 2026, £12.71 (£10.85 for 18 – 20 year olds). Start Date: 27 April 2026, or soon after.
We are a friendly and popular community playgroup situated on the edge of Rodborough Common. We provide childcare for children between the ages of 2 years 6 months, and 4 years.
Working alongside our dedicated and experienced staff team the ideal candidate will assist in the daily running of playgroup, provide creative play opportunities, meet children’s individual needs and support their development and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
Previous experience working and caring for children under 5 and an approved level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
