Development Underwriting Executive
Location: Cheltenham Outskirts
Salary: Up to £32,000 + Uncapped Commission

You will be a key conduit between our broker partners and capacity providers, managing referrals, inbound and outbound calls from brokers and ensuring the correct risks are going on cover with us
- You need to be comfortable managing large volumes of referrals and leads through phone and email volume
- Industry experience would be ideal but doesn’t have to be from an Underwriting background
- People person who will be comfortable building relationships and maximizing them
- Strong data analysis to drive partners forward
- Implementation planning and stakeholder management (internal and external)

- Strong communication skills — confident and clear over the phone and in writing
- Great relationship-building abilities with both internal and external partners
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling data and policy information
- A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to manage your own workload
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Nice to Haves
- Previous experience in insurance, underwriting, financial services, or mortgages
- Experience using CRM systems and managing customer relationships
- Understanding of policy wordings, risk presentations, or delegated authority
- A team-player mindset, keen to learn and support colleagues
