Patient Adviser (formerly called receptionists)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Patient Adviser (formerly called receptionists) with excellent communication and teamwork skills to join our friendly, dedicated and busy team.
The working hours are:
We are open from 8.30am - 6.30pm or 8.15pm, Monday - Friday. We have 2 vacancies and will agree working hours with the successful candidates. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates that are available to work on Mondays and/ or Wednesdays and/or Fridays but all working patterns can be considered.
Extra hours, as and when required, to cover sickness and holiday of other members of the patient services team will also be available.
Previous experience in a Customer Service role along with basic computer knowledge is essential.
We are a large GP Practice, in Abbeydale, Gloucester. We offer a supportive, well-managed working environment and a happy and functional practice team and have received an extremely positive CQC inspection. We have a new £5M building that will help us to meet the future clinical needs of our patient population. The role attracts a generous holiday allowance and membership of the NHS Pension scheme.
