Location: Forest of Dean, Cinderford

About the role

You will manage the daily operations of a busy domiciliary care service for older adults. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the branch is always compliant, by working closely with the Registered Manager to develop high-quality, person-centred care services.

The candidate will have a positive approach and be able to lead from the front. You will need to be able to prioritise and be extremely organised. This is an excellent opportunity and we will be keen for you to have the opportunity to progress and take a position as the Registered Branch Manager in time.

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a fast-paced domiciliary branch working closely with the Registered Manager

Manage & lead by example and develop a team to deliver the service to its highest standard

You will maintain relationships with commissioners and stakeholders

Actively participate in the growth and development of the business

Play a lead role in the development of good community care practices and procedures

Meet all Regulatory Requirements

Work with the recruitment team to recruit staff

Effectively supervise, support, and retain staff team members

Maintain effective Care Plan assessment and review procedures

Write reports and maintain all audit, reporting and monitoring systems in partnership with the Registered Manager

What we need from you

Have a driving license and access to a vehicle

Have a Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards it

Management/supervisory experience within a Domiciliary/Homecare setting

Experience in Quality Assurance and Service Improvement

Knowledge of CQC regulations.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
