ABOUT YOUR CARER ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Domiciliary Care Assistant, you’ll visit clients in their homes across Gloucester and nearby areas. Your support helps people stay independent, safe, and comfortable.
Typical tasks include:
- Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) with dignity
- Medication administration (after full training)
- Preparing meals and supporting hydration
- Helping with light housework
- Offering emotional support and companionship
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You don’t need care experience to apply. We provide full training and mentoring.
You should be a:
- Driver with a clean UK driving licence and a car who lives locally in or around Gloucester
- Have the Right to Work in the UK (NO sponsorship offered)
- Naturally caring, compassionate and respectful
- Trustworthy, reliable and punctual
- Good communicators and calm under pressure
