GL50 1HR, Cheltenham

Job Title:  Activity & Rostering Coordinator 
Location: Cheltenham, 3 days a week, 09:00 to 16:00
Salary: £14 per hour

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a supported living care provider, who need experienced Activity and Rostering Coordinator to plan rewarding & interesting activities for their service users. This could include visits to day-centres and local days out, through to international travel and attending sporting events/concerts around the UK. Reporting to the Operations Director and this will be a critical role within the business. Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organise and support a wide variety of on-site and off-site activities tailored to individual service users, including day centres, hydro-physio sessions and community activities.
- Arrange domestic and international trips, e.g. holidays, cruises, events.. there is an annual Ski trip too!
- Conduct health & safety risk assessments for all planned activities, including transport and travel arrangements.
- Manage activity budgets in line with each service user’s individual funding, ensuring options include free and low-cost activities where appropriate.
- Build positive relationships with service users, getting to know their preferences and tailoring activity plans to their individual needs.
- Assist in preparation of quarterly staff rotas and keep up to date with any changes. 
- Ensure adequate staffing cover for all activities, monitoring travel logistics and adjusting rotas as needed.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager and Operations Director to ensure service delivery meets quality and compliance standards.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

- Impeccable organisational skills, with experience in organising solo and group excursions
- Experienced in working with individuals who have physical disabilities, ideally from a social care background
- Confident communicator, able to liaise with service users, staff, families, and external providers.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and safeguarding requirements.
- Willingness to travel as part of activity planning and to support international trips when required
- Good IT skills, comfortable with rostering systems and Microsoft Office.
- A full UK Driving License is required
