Our new structure currently has a vacancy for someone who can help deliver that vision and is passionate about working in communities. What is a Family Hub?

A Family Hub is a community space where families can access a range of services, including parenting support, health services, adult education, advice, and other services. They provide a one-stop shop for families to not only receive help but to also connect with others in their community.

Community Family Support Workers play a vital role in delivering both universal and targeted support to families with children aged 0–11. Working in Family Hubs across Gloucester, you’ll lead group sessions with families and their children, provide one-to-one support in the role of family support, and help bridge the gap between universal services and more intensive interventions or support. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that works collaboratively with families, professionals, and community partners to create inclusive, resilient and connected neighbourhoods.
