Service Engineer and Window Fitter

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer/Window Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with aluminium and UPVC. Experience in fabricating aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling would be advantageous and also the ability to methodically work out any problem that occurs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Complying with all relevant Company Health, Safety and Environmental policies and appropriate Risk Assessments
• Maintenance of Windows and Doors
• Fitting Aluminium & UPVC products
• Deliveries and collections of parts and items where needed
• Helping the team with Glass lifts when more members of team are required
• Assisting on jobs with our fitters where needed

Essential:

• Ability to work well in a team and under your own initiative if/when required
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills which allow you to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions
• Strong understanding of how to install, troubleshoot and repair systems
• Reliable and Proactive
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential
• Excellent Organisational skills & Initiative
• Practical Skills
• Excellent communication skills with both the office and Customers
• Must be willing to assist in areas of our business should the need arise.

Full time: Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm
