Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Tewkesbury

Electrical-heavy FMCG engineering role | Rotating shifts | £19.89 per hour + overtime

Established in 1938, Cotteswold Dairy is one of the UK’s leading independent family-owned dairies. We are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our Engineering Team at our Tewkesbury site.

Salary
£19.89 per hour
Overtime paid at 1.25x after 40 hours
Standard 30 days holiday + company pension

Shift Pattern - Rotating (2 Week Rota)
Week 1: Monday to Friday, 0600 - 1345 and Saturday, 0600 - finish (45 hours)
Week 2: Monday to Friday, 1345 - 2145 (37.5 hours)

The Role

- Respond to breakdowns across production and processing equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently
- Carry out reactive and preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Repair, test and recommission machinery safely
- Work to strict Health & Safety standards
- Minimise downtime and support continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

- Electrical bias (minimum 70/30 electrical to mechanical split)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on high-speed / automated machinery
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Experience within an FMCG or fast-paced production environment

Qualifications (one of the following or equivalent experience):

- HNC/HND/HNCD Level 4/5 in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
- City & Guilds Level 4/5 Electrical Engineering
- Equivalent job-based engineering experience
