We’re looking for an experienced Lifting Equipment Technician / Engineer / Fitter to join our close-knit team in Gloucester. We’re a family-style business — everyone mucks in, looks out for each other, and takes pride in doing things properly.

With the company now under new ownership, this is a great time to come in and become a leading figure in the business. You’ll be trusted to run your work, represent us on site, and help drive standards and service forward.

What you’ll be doing
• Carrying out LOLER Thorough Examinations/inspections for clients across Gloucestershire
• Completing clear reports/certification and advising customers on any defects/remedial actions
• Inspecting, servicing, repairing and fitting lifting equipment (depending on your experience)
• Fault finding and fixing issues in a practical, safety-first way
• Working independently on site and at our Gloucester HQ workshop
• Setting a good example on safety, quality and customer service

What we’re looking for
Essential
• Solid experience in lifting equipment / cranes / hoists / lifting accessories (or similar)
• Able to carry out LOLER inspections independently and confidently on client sites
• Friendly, reliable, and professional with customers
• Good paperwork habits (reports, job sheets, certs)
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable (nice to have)
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. LEEA / NVQ / apprenticeship or similar)
• IPAF / PASMA / CSCS etc.
• Electrical/hydraulic fault-finding and installation experience
