Established in 1990 in Gloucestershire, Ebb & Flow design and make Flowforms which are hand cast vessels for flowing water; the lifeblood of Earth. We export and work associatively with Flowform companies in many parts of the world and are developing their potential in the UK within agricultural and garden settings. The Role:
We are looking for a practical, reliable, and collaborative individual to join our small team primarily to help in the production of Flowforms. This is a physically active role that involves working with concrete casting materials and machinery.
Previous experience in a similar setting would be beneficial but not essential.
If desired, there would be the opportunity further development with us and additional work helping install the Flowform sculptures and creating water landscapes at times.
• Based at our premises at Ruskin Mill, Nailsworth
• Part-time, contract based, 2 days per week initially
Essential attributes:
• A positive and flexible approach with enthusiasm for learning
• Good verbal and collaborative communication skills
• Ability to carry out physical duties required for the casting workshop (including lifting, pouring, mixing and packing)
• Ability to follow casting processes, with attention to detail, and respond to challenges as they arise
• Ability to work independently at times Main Responsibilities:
• End-to-end production of Flowform sculptures of various designs in fulfilment of customer orders
• Communication with the Ebb & Flow team to receive and deliver orders
• Maintaining a clean and tidy premises, including the external areas
• Assist in good maintenance of stock, and to make orders for timely replenishment.
• Always operate machinery safely by complying with H&S regulations
• Packing of orders to ensure safe delivery
• Occasional site work, scope to learn about Flowform installations and water systems
