We are looking for a highly organised Accounts Receivable specialist with excellent attention to detail to support the Credit Function.  In this role you will receive full training and support enabling you to ensure timely and accurate execution of billing requirements, cash allocation and general administration whilst contributing to successful achievement of KPI’s set by Head of Credit.

Responsibilities

  • Raising and submitting timely customer invoices as per the Billing Schedule and Builder Requirements
  • Allocate payments and provide Credit Control with supplementary information from the remittance
  • Release payment cards
  • Communicate with the Regional Manager to ensure the timely receipt of signed confirmation of works
  • Update the “Date changed Invoices” spreadsheet with appropriate reasons
  • Raising Credit Notes, Manual Invoices and Restructuring Documentation
  • Action Write offs and Ledger Tidy Requests
  • Ensure all filing of monthly invoices, applications and cash receipts are up to date
  • Ensure Mailboxes are kept up to date and organised by responding to and actioning incoming mail
  • Support Regional Administration requirements across Teams and provide cover during absence
  • Performing ad hoc duties as required by the Head of Credit

Requirements

  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Good organisational skills and capable of managing high volumes of billing
  • Good time management, prioritizing and working to deadlines
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt and learn processes and systems quickly
  • Self-motivated with a flexible approach to working
  • Driven to achieve set KPIs and targets
  • Experience in billing and cash allocation or wider accounting qualifications desirable but not essential
