Customer Service & Projects Coordinator (Full or Part Time)

Our client is a well-established, family-run home improvement specialist with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality, bespoke solutions to homeowners across Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. As a growing business built on repeat custom and recommendations, they are now looking to welcome a Customer Service & Projects Coordinator to their friendly, close-knit team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with customers, thrives in a busy office environment and takes pride in keeping everything organised behind the scenes.
Whilst full training will be provided, it would be highly advantageous to have previously worked within the construction, property, housebuilding, windows & doors, or home improvement industries, to have an understanding of industry terminology and customer expectations.
Based at their Cheltenham office, you will work within a small, supportive team, you'll play a key role in ensuring customers receive an excellent service from their initial enquiry through to project completion. Every day is different – you could be helping a homeowner who is looking for a new front door one minute to supporting the administration of a large bespoke home improvement project the next.
Responsibilities
-Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner
-Build and develop relationships with prospective domestic and commercial customers
-Liaise with existing clients, providing updates and helping to manage expectations throughout their customer journey
-Maintain accurate customer records and update information on the company's CRM system
-Contact previous customers to obtain feedback, encourage online reviews and support ongoing marketing initiatives
-Provide administrative support to the Accounts department, including data entry and filing
-Carry out a range of general office administration duties to support the wider team
Candidate Attributes
-Previous experience within construction, property, housing, glazing, windows & doors or a similar industry would be highly advantageous
-Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
-A proactive, organised and positive approach to work.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM systems.
-Ability to prioritise a varied workload and maintain accurate records.
Hours: Monday – Friday, full or part time hours between 8:30am – 4:30pm
Salary & Benefits: £13 – £15 per hour depending on experience, company pension scheme, 24 days annual leave + bank holidays and overtime opportunities available
